Paul Boone, MD
Dr. Paul D. Boone is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurosurgeon with expertise in neurosurgical treatment of disorders of the spinal column and cord. He specializes in complex reconstructive surgical techniques as well as minimally invasive approaches.
Dr. Boone earned his medical degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. He subsequently completed his internship training in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., where he also continued his residency training in neurosurgery. Dr. Boone's fellowship in reconstructive spinal surgery was completed at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Fla.
Prior to joining South Denver Neurosurgery, Dr. Boone was on staff at Mischer Neuroscience Institute in Houston, Texas. He had previously served as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2007, he was nominated by his peers and elected to be included in the Best Doctors in America list, a medical resource founded by physicians affiliated with the Harvard University School of Medicine.
